They call it the “Jerusalem of the Aegean” and the truth is that Patmos is unlike any other island in Greece. Maybe because despite its natural beauty, it also retains an authenticity and a nearly mystical energy that seduces its visitors. It is said that if you visit the island twice, you will never stop craving to return. Issue No 14 is a rich journey to Patmos. It is the stories of Greeks who were born there and foreigners who fell in love with the island and chose it as their home. There are stories about architecture, but also stories around a dinner table. There are the unique photographs of Sabine Sarnitz, Ifigeneia Filopoulou, Rene Habermacher, Ioannis Nikolaou, Dimosthenis Grivas, Alexis Vasilikos and Yannis Bournias that narrate their own stories.
An issue that came out despite the strict quarantine, even when covid swept Greece - along with half of our office. This is why this issue seems like a miracle-and we present it with great emotion.

Την αποκαλούν Ιερουσαλήμ του Αιγαίου και η αλήθεια είναι ότι η Πάτμος δεν μοιάζει με κανένα άλλο νησί της Ελλάδας. Ίσως επειδή εκτός από φυσική ομορφιά διατηρεί ακόμα μια αυθεντικότητα και μια μυστικιστική σχεδόν ενέργεια που σαγηνεύει τους επισκέπτες της. Λένε ότι αν πας δυο φορές στο νησί μετά δεν θα σταματήσεις ποτέ να θέλεις να επιστρέψεις. Το τεύχος Νο 14 είναι ένα πλούσιο ταξίδι στην Πάτμο. Είναι οι ιστορίες των Ελλήνων που γεννήθηκαν εκεί και των ξένων που την ερωτεύτηκαν και την επέλεξαν για σπίτι τους. Είναι ιστορίες αρχιτεκτονικής αλλά και ιστορίες γύρω από ένα πιάτο φαΐ. Είναι οι μοναδικές φωτογραφίες των Sabine Sarnitz, Ιφιγένειας Φιλοπούλου, Rene Habermacher, Γιάννη Νικολάου, Δημοσθένη Γρίβα, Αλέξη Βασιλικού, αλλά και του Γιάννη Μπουρνιά που αφηγούνται τις δικές τους ιστορίες.
Ένα τεύχος που βγήκε παρά την αυστηρή καραντίνα κι όταν ο κόβιντ σάρωνε την Ελλάδα -μαζί με το μισό μας γραφείο. Γι' αυτό λέμε ότι αυτό το τεύχος μοιάζει με θαύμα. Και το παρουσιάζουμε με μεγάλη συγκίνηση.
